Minerva Webworks LLC

Welcome!

Minerva Webworks LLC was founded by me, Lisa Shea in order to develop websites and publish books with a charitable purpose. Each website in my Minerva Webworks community is designed to help visitors achieve health, happiness, and harmony. The ad presence on these sites is deliberately kept to a minimum, solely ensuring the sites pay their own hosting fees and can remain self sufficient. I explicitly avoid pop-up, pop-under, interstitial and other annoying ads. The primary purpose of my websites is to help people.

The Minerva Webworks Websites

Here are some of the websites which are part of the Minerva Webworks family.

BellaOnline

BellaOnline

BellaOnline began back in 2002; at one point was the second largest women's website in the world. We'veve trained thousands of women and men on how to write for the web. BellaOnline has over 400 different topic areas, each written by an enthusiast in that field. We train our writers how to write engaging content, use social networking, and monetize their material. It's all free!

RomanceClass

RomanceClass

RomanceClass was also once a top-traffic site. We received fifty or more questions a day on dating, flirting, and other topics. The site has tens of thousands of tips on a wide variety of topic areas. Over the years we have compiled a massive library of questions, answers, and advice on all things involving relationships.

WineIntro

WineIntro

I had wine content online with the site GeoCities long before most other wine sites even knew about the web. I then wrote for About.com for several years as their wine guide before creating my own WineIntro website. I have thousands of pages online about wine regions, wine reviews, wine terminology, and much more. Plus sangria recipes and Champagne cocktail recipes!

The Name

About Minerva

Minerva was the goddess of wisdom and reason in the Roman Empire. She was the patron for learning, the arts, science, poetry and literature. Minerva was also hailed as the defender of the weak and poor. In the Greek culture she was known as Athena, goddess of justice, and the city of Athens was dedicated to her.

Minerva's symbol was the wise owl.

The gorgeous owl logo was created by Gardiner Design

Lisa Shea

I have been working with networked computers since my childhood in the 1970s. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a household which had thermal-paper terminals. At Worcester Polytech I had access to the early workings of the internet, and then working at biotechs I was involved with FTP, Telnet, and the first websites with the research scientists.

I enjoy staying in tune with the latest changes, whatever our wonderful world of technology has to offer!

Be The Change

Most of my websites, books, art sales, and other projects support charity.
